Riftbound Radiance Beginner Guide
Learn Riftbound from setup to victory — build a deck, contest battlefields, and reach 8 points before your opponent.
Riftbound is a physical competitive trading card game built around claiming and contesting battlefields. A beginner game follows a clear sequence: prepare a legal deck, deploy units and supporting cards, fight for valuable locations, and score enough points to win.
- 1
1.Choose a Champion and Legend
Start by selecting a Champion and a Legend. These cards establish the identity of your deck and provide the foundation for the cards and strategies you can play.

2.Build Your Deck
Assemble a deck around your Champion and Legend, then add units, spells, gear, and other cards that support your game plan. Check the official rules for deck construction, card limits, and legal card combinations.

3.Prepare Runes and the Battlefield
Set aside your Runes and prepare the battlefield according to the game setup rules. The battlefield is where units contest locations and where most scoring decisions take place.

4.Draw Your Opening Hand
Shuffle your deck, draw your opening hand, and complete the starting setup described in the official rules. Use your opening cards to identify an early deployment plan and the resources needed to contest a battlefield.

5.Play Units and Supporting Cards
Deploy units to the battlefield, cast spells at the appropriate time, and attach or use gear when it advances your plan. Units provide presence, while spells and gear create tactical advantages.

6.Contest Battlefields
Move your units and make tactical decisions around the available locations. Winning a battlefield usually depends on building enough presence, timing attacks and effects, and denying your opponent the position they need.

7.Score 8 Points to Win
Track your score as you successfully claim points through battlefield play and card effects. The first player to reach 8 points wins the game, subject to the complete victory and timing rules.

Riftbound Radiance Card Codes
Use the RAD set abbreviation and printed card numbering to identify Radiance cards.
Radiance card references are designed to help players, collectors, stores, and deckbuilders locate a physical card in the set. The set abbreviation, card number, and card name should be read together when cataloging or searching for a card.
RAD references identify printed trading cards. They are not digital game redemption codes, so never enter them as account rewards.

Riftbound Radiance Booster and Rarity Guide
Understand how Radiance boosters, rarities, Showcase cards, and Ultimate Rares fit together.
Radiance booster products serve different purposes for players and collectors. Regular cards support deck construction, while higher-rarity and special-treatment cards add scarcity and visual appeal. Product contents and availability should be read from the official product information.
A sealed booster product intended for opening multiple Radiance packs. It can be used for a draft-style gathering, collection building, or opening a larger quantity of cards at once.
An individual Radiance booster pack containing a randomized selection of cards from the set. Pack openings can provide playable cards, duplicates, and cards from different rarity levels.
Rarity Levels
Radiance cards are distributed across official rarity levels. Rarity is a collecting and product-distribution attribute and does not by itself determine whether a card fits a particular deck.
Showcase cards are special presentations of selected cards, intended to provide an alternate visual treatment for collectors and players who enjoy premium versions.
Ultimate Rare cards are premium chase cards in the Radiance collecting structure. They are primarily associated with rarity and collection goals rather than a separate game rule.
Riftbound Radiance Preview Calendar
Track Radiance reveals and official updates from announcement sources across the preview season.
The preview calendar separates set-level announcements from individual card reveals. Each record identifies the publication timing available in the official source, the source category, the named card information, and the current publication status.
